2021: A Year in Review

I don’t know about you, but the last year wasn’t exactly what I had hoped for. While there was excitement about vaccines, outdoor gatherings and a return to “normalcy,” it was far from normal.
There are tremendous personal positives - working from home, more time with my family, being able to “fit it all in on zoom,” appreciating the hugs and gatherings when they do happen - but as a medium-sized PRSA chapter, we are missing in person engagement and connectedness.

We continue to hold strong with our membership and relationship with our other WI-based chapters. We launched a statewide awards program, supported our PRSSA chapters, provided review for the Phoenix chapter awards, presented at the regional conference and mentored several APR candidates through the APR process

As we look to 2022, I am honored to have served our chapter through these times of unknown and pass the baton to Rob Gard, director of PR & communications at Destination Madison. Rob is a connector - he plugged me in to several opportunities when I first moved here - I’m excited to see what his creativity and energy to our chapter.

Be sure to read on for info on our mentor programs, sponsorship opportunities, board openings and membership deals.

Wishing you and yours success and happiness in 2022!
